Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, AJ Johnson was a pillar in his community for many years. AJ graduated from Gainesville High School and for a long time after, he didn’t know what he wanted to do with his life. He spent time in sales, allowed his humor to shine as a stand-up comedian, and even developed a passion for the culinary arts. Yet something still seemed to be missing. He was no longer happy spending hours upon hours in a hot kitchen, pumping out dishes, and making great food for little to no appreciation. Lucky for him he was quick to acknowledge what did make him happy, sports. AJ developed a podcast called 4th&20 Sports and the feeling he had producing content that he truly cared about was unmatched. After years of living in uncertainty, he finally knew the career path he wanted to follow. AJ quickly took the steps to make it happen and enrolled at Full Sail University. He began putting the skills he learned to use by creating another show called The Sack City Podcast. Using his longshot opinions and bold predictions to debate with his peers, that show is still a growing success today. Now, as a recent graduate of The Dan Patrick Sportscasting Program, AJ looks to become a pivotal part of the media industry! With the skills learned at Full Sail, he knows that dream is very much attainable!
